LUCID

This April, I'll be holding a new themed solo exhibition at the new Muse gallery in Nabiac, NSW.

LUCID is a collection of paintings designed to uplift and inspire using imagery that conveys dreams and symbolism. Over the past 20 years working internationally as a custom tattoo artist I picked up influences from cultures around the world. The central focus of my work was to translate customers ideas into artworks that personify them as the wearer, through this work I explored the capacity of symbolism to communicate the subliminal, which particularly led me to recognise the function of symbols in dreams.

In this latest body of work, a work in progress that has been actualizing for a few years so far, LUCID channels imagery that has a positive effect on the viewer and opens up the possibility for influencing the subconscious on a deliberate level.
