A portrait emerging through layers of mineral light and metallic fieldwork, Sage explores the boundary between seen and unseen form. Built on an aluminium base washed in alcohol inks and mica, the surface carries subtle traces of crystal fusion — selenite for clarity, black tourmaline for grounding, quartz for rhythm, and pyrite for luminous strength.
Copper leaf completes the circuit, conducting warmth through each contour while soft transparency allows the figure to appear multidimensional — half material, half memory.
What results is less a depiction than an encounter: a quiet transmission designed to stabilise perception and invite coherence.
Sage embodies the ethos of the Visual Resonance Method — where art becomes a living field, translating harmony through texture, light, and intention.

      Behind the Process
For those drawn to the layers beneath the surface, the accompanying video offers a glimpse into Sage’s creation — from the first sketch across sealed ink and resin on aluminium to the final copper-gilded harmonics. It reveals how each element — metal, mineral, and light — finds its place through the rhythm of intention.
Watch the process unfold and sense how resonance takes form, one layer at a time.
